AdSense "White List"

If for some reason an advertiser made it on the black list by accident, please leave a comment here. Promotional comments are subject to immediate deletion. We will not publish a list of 'good SEO/SEM ads'.

One of our competitors must have placed on this list. I find it pretty disturbing that anyone can insert any URL on that list.

Morten, your site got listed under "annoying advertisers, e.g. bidding on unrelated keywords, targeting search sites with unrelated ads ...", so perhaps you've targeted unrelated sites? My danish is flawed, so I've asked for an explanation. Rest assured it wasn't a competitor who listed your domain.

That's what I got:
Q: You've added, is it crap or just annoying you?
A: Just an annoying ad about a danish social network.

So, since a danish social network has nothing to do with an english search related site, and AdSense auto-targeting usually works fine, it seems you've targeted unrelated sites and you deserve the entry under 'annoying ads'.

Sebastian, a Danish social network has a lot to do with an english search related site as long as the visitors are from Denmark, Greenland or Faroe Islands. What I wanna know is who (this is unfortunately an anonymous list) has experinced an ad where (URL) related to what keyword.

My guess: This anonymous person is a Dane (or perhaps a person surfing from one of the countries mentioned above) and that it's a related keyword, e.g. "blog", "network", "groups".

But as you might not know this unknown website could have registered it's own keywords. That's out of Minglers control.

I like the idea of a list of annoying advertisers. But you shold collect basic informations about who, where, how, when and keyword name and make these essential informations visible to your visitors.

And me?... I might consider publishing a list of annoying blogs ;-)

I don't think should be on this list. We are very relevant to the search context, in fact we are a specialized search engine. Please let me know why it has been placed here.

Morten, WRT annoying blogs I'm with you;) You're blocked on several search related sites, but no longer on the list.

James, you made it on the list because you or an affiliate promoted automated link exchanges, which are crap per definition, regardless how clever they are set up. Landing page:

Sebastian, I guess you don't feel that any link exchange tool is valuable and that's fine... But you must know that WebsiteZone has over 100 product categories. We feel that it's unfair to be blacklisted because of this one category. As a specialized search engine we aim to provide an exhaustive list of all the tools related to website creation, promotion and management. We do not endorse any product or company found in our directory.

Since I think AdSense publishers do benefit from carrying our ads I would ask that you remove us from the list.

Thanks for your collaboration,

James, you made a valid point, and I agree. I've changed the entry to
so only the noob traps get blocked.
Fair enough?

We are curious exactly how you (or Nick) categorized us with your list. Our current ad is "site targeted," (not a keyword buy). The ads are not misleading in any way, and the site is super clean.

We are investing with ads to help us get the word out to search industry professionals who remember the old-school I-Search Digest with Detlev moderating again. The once famed list was one that helped start the SEO industry back in the nineties with as many as 18,000 search industry readers.

If you weren't there, we don't expect you to remember that. Simply try reading through an issue from the archive. If you still don't understand, have a look at the references page ("search industry accolades") for comments by those who were there and know what we're up to.

We'd appreciate a second look.

Why is listed here? We have always deivered a real product. For SE submissions and FFA submissions etc all clients get access to full comfirmable stats to where sites have been successfully submitted.

Our adwords are targeted as well and our traffic services are great.

I must say I find it really disturbing that anyone can post bad comments and get them posted without any further controlling being done.

Best wishes

You really ask why? Where have you been? SE/FFA submitters are out, useless crap, scams, and sooo 1995. Unscrupulous guys like you are responsible for tons of spam procuded by clueless noobs. Try to develop a useful product, or have the balls to rename your tool. "Web spammers heaven" or so would fit.

This is incorrect. You should not post BS without proof!

We take care of the comfirmation mails for our customers. Our customers receive absolutely NO spam in return!!

Correction: "Our customers receive absolutely NO spam emails in return for link spamming other spammers as well as useful Web sites". Stop complaining now, it's a mess to handle your comments coz you're hitting the publish button way too often. That's a mentality problem I guess.

Sebastian Foss is nothing more than a over-promising, under-delivering piece of shit.

Try asking for REFUNDS and see where YOU get!

Here's why Internet Marketing gets such a black eye.

Please be sure and get arrested soon, you fuck.
